Hi Nishant,

Do you if one can apply in IPO's through multiple demat accounts? I have got two demat accounts one is joint ac. with me as second holder and other one has me as first holder. Is, the PAN number of both account holders, checked in case of joint ac. during IPO allocation and rejected if they find multiple applications from same PAN?

Thanks...

Hello User..
There is absolutely no problem for you applying in IPO from multiple accounts... If u have 10 Demat accounts u can apply from all 10. No issues..

But isn't it that multiple applications with same PAN even thru different DP accounts tracked and invalidated?

Thanks,

As long as u are mentioning the PAN numbers there is nuthing to worry.. as far as validation is concerned screening out of individual pan numbers is not the process followed here and hence you dont have to worry about the same. As I said before.. If u have 10 accounts apply from all 10.. the basis of allotment is the same for all the companies....
By the way whats your name and how did u come across my blog?.
